INFRARED
Modifying a camera for infrared photography can be a costly and irreversible process — conversions often run up to \$500, and once it's done, there's no turning back. To help you achieve that distinct infrared look without the high cost or commitment, I created the Infra-Red Ultra LUT.
It gives your footage that surreal, color-shifted aesthetic reminiscent of infrared imagery — all with just a few clicks, and no need to alter your gear.
Infra-Red is a powerful Ultra LUT that transforms greens in your footage into rich, vibrant reds — all while preserving natural skin tones and overall color balance.
Compatible with any editing software, this LUT can be effortlessly applied in programs like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve, making your color grading process faster and more creative.
Using the LUT in Photoshop:
You can also apply this LUT in Photoshop. Simply go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Lookup, then load the LUT file. From there, you can adjust the opacity of the adjustment layer or blend it with other layers to fine-tune the effect.
You can easily adjust the intensity of the red effect to suit your footage. Every LUT reacts differently depending on the shot, so it's important to keep in mind that subtle adjustments and careful application will deliver the best results.
Tip: When applying a LUT in Premiere Pro, using the Creative tab instead of the Basic Correction tab allows you to adjust the LUT’s intensity directly with a convenient slider. Both methods work perfectly — it just comes down to your preferred workflow.
